Laura- Call your mama
Happy Friday sweet friends...

If you are here from yesterday's devotion "Am I Messing Up My Kids?"- click here to read about several things I don't do well as a mom and one thing I do right. You can also post your prayer request in the comments and enter to win a free book.

Now, on to today's post...

For the next several Fridays I want to do "Friday Features for Becoming More" where I feature your comments and stories about my book Becoming More than a Good Bible Study Girl. I treasure every one of you that entered a comment on this post.

Seriously.

You touched my heart deeply with your words. And I can't wait to feature many of you.

Of course you know how I lack a little in the organizational department. So, it may be noon on the Friday you find out with the rest of the world you are featured.

Which is the case for my sweet bloggy commenting friend Laura who is our first Friday Feature. I'm so sorry I didn't have your email address. So, hopefully you will stumble here today and jump around and call your mama and say, "I am featured on a blog."

And mama will say, "What's a blog?"

And you will say, "It's a thing on the web where people tell stuff about stuff and people leave comments about what someone said about their stuff and stuff. Get it?"

And mama will say, "That sounds weird but if you are featured I will go look."

And then mama will get hooked and become a total blogging babe who likes to read stuff about stuff. Or something like that.

Anyhow.

Here's what Laura had to say about Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl:

I listened to your book, “Becoming More than a Good Bible Study Girl” on CD during my "shower time".

I truly treasured listening to each chapter - and often played a CD 2-3 times before moving on.

Then, I found that several weeks in a row a friend of mine would mention a problem she was having that was touched on in your book. Finally, I brought the whole book on CD to her at church & told her to have it - and pass it on, or keep it & continue to listen to it over & over.

I plan to buy the book and scribble all over the margins of the pages! AMEN AMEN AMEN!
