Welcome "Encouragement for Today" P31 devotion readers. I'm glad you popped over for a visit.
Just a couple of announcements first...
Do you see that button over on the right side of my blog? The one where my head looks kinda large? It's my new book! It's not in stores yet but you can get a copy right now from Proverbs 31 Ministries. Click on the big head inside that square for more information.
I'm speaking at the "Closer to Him" conference in Tyler, TX on Sept. 19th and I'd love to meet you. I'll be sharing my life story called "Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl" and a new message I've just written called, "The Most Powerful Two Word Prayer."

In today's devotion, I promised to list some of my favorite Bible verses. Can I encourage you to do something today? Take one of your favorite verses (or use one I typed out below), write it on a piece of paper and carry it with you.
Pull it out and look at at it often. Consider what specific reason you were drawn to this particular verse on this particular day. When we make this connection, this is an exciting experience of God! This is God speaking to us personally and specifically.
When we connect God's word to our everyday life, our relationship with Him deepens and becomes more meaningful.
What's the verse you are going to carry with you today? I'd love for you to leave a comment below by clicking on the word "comments" and follow the promptings from there.
