Speaking Schedule
On the road again... I just can't wait to get on the road again. Oh, wait, I promised in my first post to leave the country music behind. Sorry, I have a hard time hiding my roots, smiles!

Anyhow, I'd love to meet you in person so here is a list of where I'll be and when. Hope to see you soon!

Do you ever come to California?

Blogger PrairieMom said...

Will you come to (eastern)WA state, too? You will love the inland NW. There is a huge revival taking place here and you need to be a part of it!

Pleeeeeeeeease? I'm going to discuss you and your ministry with our church leadership...SOON!

STAY TUNED! You will be getting a call, I'm sure of it!

Hello Lysa I listen to you on KSBJ (Houston, Tx.)every weekday and decided to check out your website. I love all the different topics, etc. that you have come up with,it looks like a lot of heart and soul went into making this website what it is today. The Oprah Show snippets on adoption were FANTASTIC!!!! That was such a heart felt story about the boy's from Liberia. I watched it twice and both times I had the biggest smile on my face and a huge lump in my throat.

When are you coming to TEXAS? SOON I hope.

God Bless you and your family.

Hi Lysa! I was disappointed to see that you are not going to be at the Hearts at Home Conference again this year in Normal, IL. Do you know if you'll be there next year? You were the most memorable women's speaker I've heard at HAH, and I look forward to hearing you soon!

I am very excited you are coming to Phoenix in April. Can you tell me what the topic will be then?? I'd like to get a group of ladies to go from my church. Thx!!

Hi Lysa,

I see your in Greenville this weekend at Covenant. I was a member there a few years ago and am originally from Greenville. I have been getting Proverbs31 emails for about a year now and love them so much. Thank you for your ministry. I wish I could be at Covenant while you're there, but I'm in Germany! Would you consider coming to Germnay to speak to our ladies? I go to a wonderful American Baptist church that's always looking for inspiring women to come and speak in our women's ministries. We would love to have you!

Hi Lysa
I was at Central Church of God last night and you blessed my heart. I hope to see you again. Thanks.

Dear Lysa,
My name is Anne Steppe, I attended the talk you gave on Tuesday night at Central Church of God. I was third in line to speak to you after you were done. I attend a Bible Study at Covenant Presbyterian Church led by your friend and one of my mentors, Debbie Hodde, she was behind me to speak to you also.

There it is again, that flutter in my heart, and a warmth all over my body when I try to understand just what happened Tuesday night. Outside of my faith, I know there is no logical explanation. When I try to explain to others what took place I find myself searching for the words to define a divine moment... a defining moment in my life. At one point in your talk you were pointing out to the audience and stating "You, you were hand picked by God..." I thought "Man, she is GOOD!" I was so enjoying your talk, soaking in your testimony and already thinking of how I was going to share God's story in your life with others. Then, then it happened... but what, I am still trying to wrap my mind around. Again, outside of my faith I can not explain what took place. As you pointed around the room I felt like our eyes locked and your finger was pushing on my very forehead, the room went empty and all was silent. It was as if God himself was saying, "Anne, YOU were handpicked, by me for ____"... for what? That is where I am now, trying to search the reason's why God so clearly spoke to me through you on Tuesday. So it is that I am asking, "So what and now what?" I was visibly shaken if you remember when I asked you to sign my book. I am not an overly emotional person, but that night I was a wreck. I barely got out the words "I don't know what just happened... it felt like something just ripped wide open in me..." and you took my hand, and sweetly said, with such a look of understanding and love, "I know... I know..." Man, you are good! I then managed a few more words, "I will just have to let Proverbs 31 know what comes of this"... and I will. Thank you for saying "Yes" to God on Tuesday, for saying "Yes" to His call on your life everyday... for it has had a profound impact on me... I am terrified and energized all in one. I come from a life of privledge - I don't have any horror story in my life to share - but I have always felt like I had something to say... I just don't know what that something is suppose to be. Over the past few years I've felt as if God wants me to talk about Him - privledged story or not, it is a story and it is His. A mentor of mine at work said to me what her mother said to her after she had a similar experience 15 years ago, "Anne, you are not meant for an ordinary life"... but as a child of God... who is? So again, I thank you for your courage and for the gentle way you took my hand - yours was the first hand to lead me down this new path I now find my feet gracing. I will let you know where it takes me. Thank you for pointing my compass in the right direction... homeward.

Hi Lysa! Just wanted to plant a seed about you possibly saying "yes" to Hearts at Home national convention again. That is where I first heard you speak and each workshop you lead was either used to kick my butt or raise me up...usually both. Don't know the procedure for how they line up speakers and workshop leaders but just had to let you know I'd love to see you again!

Blogger seesawfaith said...

Hey Lysa! I have sent off a request that you be invited back to the Hearts at Home national conference...Now prayer and petition follow!

In all that spare time you have if you want to pop over to my blog, feel free. I am trying to figure this stuff all out but would appreciate any comments or readers you might send my way, if applicable.

Thanks!

Dear Lysa,
I rarely watch Oprah but happen to watch a rerun of the show you were on in Jan. 2006. My husband was preparing his Sunday morning lesson and your story fit in perfectly with the topic so I relayed your story and to get the facts correct came across your website. I checked out your schedule and to my surprise you are coming to my town in 2009. I just wanted to say I'm so excited and can't wait to hear you in person!
God Bless you, your family and your ministry.
Christine

Reno, Nv or northern california would be greatly blessed with your presence. :-) well anywhere would really but these are the places it is easiest for me to get to on a low budget.

Lysa, you spoke at the Lancaster Pregnancy Care Center banquet back in September and since then I have been able to share your story and what the Lord taught me that night. Thank you for being faithful to go where God leads. My dad was at the banquet with me, and since then he has told me he loves me every time he sees me, because growing up he never told me. Your story truly touched my heart and I was able to see that God can work something good out of the worst situations. Thank you again and God bless.

Lysa, I heard you for the first time on Focus on the Family with Dr. James Dobson. I was blessed to hear your speach. I noticed that some areas of our lives are synonymous. I started listening to Christian radio since about January 2008. I haven't listened to anything else since. I've started purchasing christian music and filling my life with more positive medias. I sure would love for you to visit my neck of the woods. I'm in the middle of Kansas. I appreciate your story and know even more that Jesus uses all of us for His good. Our experiences can draw others to know Christ and His infinate love for His children. We are so blessed. Thank you, Tamra Johnson
