Oh left to my own devices I can fall victim to some serious fashionista faux pas. If you've ever heard me speak you know some of my favorite little mishaps. White Walmart pumps in the dead of winter while speaking in front of hundreds- need I say more?
The Proverbs 31 woman was dressed in fine linen and purple. This tells me she did put a little thought into the threads that covered her J Lo. I know she did not have the jello problem because it also clearly states in Proverbs 31 that her arms were strong for the task. Yes, ma'am she did adult gymnastics too. I'm sure of it.
She also knew what colors to wear. She must have had her a little color analysis meeting with someone like my friend Shari. There has never been any help to my many fashion dilemmas better than the Preppy Handbook and my friend Shari.
But since my 80's version of the Preppy Handbook is full of suggestions the require things like pink and green Izods, Pappagallo button purses, and whale belt buckles--- I must now just rely solely on Shari- the official "What Not to Wear Fashionista Police for church ladies everywhere."

----Hi everyone! I am very excited to offer today's give away. In case you don't know me, my name is Shari Braendel and I am part of the Proverbs 31 Speaker team. I speak and write about What Not to Wear and What TO Wear!
I am grateful that God also allows me to teach our younger generation about modesty through my "Modest is Hottest" Fashion Shows and Events. I am a wife to Dave (amazing cook!) and the mother of a thirteen year old son, Luke, and triplet 23 year old step-daughters.
I have found out through years of being in the fashion and beauty industry that women everywhere just don't have a lot of confidence putting their own wardrobes together. Also, most women feel guilty spending time on themselves regarding their outer beauty. Soooo, God has graciously seen fit to allow me to minister to women everywhere to help them see themselves in a whole new, beautiful light...AND learn how to dress to make the most of what they've got!
After brainstorming with Lysa on what to give away, we decided since it's a new year, then I will help you create a NEW YOU!
There will be 6 winners, 3 from Lysa's blog and 3 from my blog. The winners will all receive my new E-book on wardrobing AND will be invited to join me on a 2 hour conference call with all 6 winners!
