Hi sweet friends. I am so excited so many of you are joining me on the 37 days of kindness. I have been having so much fun.
But I'll be honest. I feel a little like I now have a target on my back for interactions that don't exactly motivate my kindness.
Just the other day I was driving down the road processing one of 'those' situations and thought to myself, "sometimes I don't like people." People are complicated, messy, unpredictable...
...And completely loved by Jesus in that state.
It's easy to be kind to those who are nice. But today I want to be less common.
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the prophets... small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matthew 7:12, 14).
