First I must say thank you for your comments and e-mails yesterday. Girls, we're all in this thing called life together. And whether we start a movement or not, I'm excited about the possibilities.
As I read through and prayed over each one of your comments, my heart stirred with how many resonated with that feeling of just trying to get through another day. That's not how Jesus wants us to live. I know that now. I lived in the stuck place for so long.
If you are living in that stuck place, can I encourage you to pray something today? "God, I want to see you, hear you, and know you in a deeper way today."
Pray that earnestly from your heart. Pray it five, ten, twenty times if you need to until it becomes the natural cry of your heart today. Then watch for God. Matthew 5:8 promises if we cry out to God with a pure heart, we will see Him.
We won't physically see Him... but we will see evidence of His activity around us. And nothing unsticks a girl going through the motions more than experiencing God.
