Hey sweet friends. I had fully intended to post all the winners of the goodies from my friends yesterday but this little thing interrupted my great plans last night. This minor detail called sleep messes up my night time plans quite often.
So, winners will be posted tomorrow.
But, for now, I have something really fun to share with you. Do you remember last week when I posted that open letter to the Executives of Chili's Restaurants? I went on and on about how much I love their Guiltless Grill Menu and if they would like to donate some Chili's coupons I would be so happy to share them with my bloggy friends?
Well, I never heard from them.
That day.
But.
Then another day I did hear from them!!!!
Oh my stars I was jumping around and busting out some of my high school dance moves.
(Side note- I fully realize when my children read that last sentence they will want to cry with embarrassment. Can I further embarrass you, my beloved children, by saying that I may or may not have MC Hammered my way across the kitchen floor and then attempted the Moon Walk as well. Well, at least you can't ever say I do nothing while you are at school all day.)
You can take the girl out of the 80's but you can not take the 80's out of the girl.
Plus all that movement is quite Biblical if you are praising the Lord and following David's example from 2 Samuel 6:14. Only I kept my linen ephod and polyesterish jog suit in tact.
Y'all I was so very excited.
They are sending Be Our Guest Certificates.
And being the great woman of detail I am, I am doing the give away for the Chili's Be Our Guest certificates before I have a clue what that means. The certificates are simply 'in the mail.' Fun right!
It could mean, "Be our guest for one chip. Just one."
Or, it could mean, "Be our guest for a whole appetizer... or one diet soda... or A WHOLE MEAL!"
Oh please say it is a whole meal, please say it is for a whole meal!
But, I haven't a clue. And still I am so very excited that somehow in all this world of technology some very kind Chili's executive found us and thought enough of our little daily get togethers that they are sending certificates.
Now, let's try this...
Dear Cruise Executives... We here at this little bloggy get together would love, love, love some sun and fun together. Oh yes we would. Think of the possibilities. We could teach 80's dance moves on the Lido deck each morning much to the delight of all your guests.
Can you imagine...
Anyhow.
