This past weekend I spoke at a conference at my home church, Southbrook.
It was my first "More" conference where I gave the new messages that go along with my just being released book "Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl."
So, here's my question...
I'm investigating a couple of conference options for next year and am wondering where you are??? Doing events like this are always more fun when you go where your friends are. Even though knowing my friends are in the audience always makes me stinkin' nervous.
This weekend, some of my favorite chicks joined me... Emily, Jen, and Nester.
Hello, how is it we didn't get one single group shot ladies? If you've never read their blogs, you should. You will love them. I do. I really, really, really do.
Okay, so back to you. We meet here each day and chat it up about life. But, wouldn't it be fun to do it in person?
Look at how cute Miss Holly looks. And she totally scored that necklace from someone at She Speaks. Can you see it? Look closely. I wish I could remember that sweet lady's name. Holly just said, "I love your necklace." And with that, it was Holly's. I love stuff like that.
My daughter just informed me these jeans sagging at the knees look really bad. But here's my question... if I sit and they stretch, how do you stop them from sagging at the knees. Oh kids these days are bothered by the silliest stuff.
I love people who know about technical stuff. They are so smart. I am so clueless and was so afraid when I was in this room that I'd accidentally lean over and push buttons that would cause technical chaos. It's much safer for me to be on stage away from the buttons and computers.
See? Don't you want to bring a conference taught by a girl who wears saggy kneed jeans to your area? We are trying to pick three cities, so tell us why your location should be it.
