Last month I spoke at Jennifer Rothschild's Fresh Grounded Faith event in Knoxville, TN. Please note the following observations:~ Jennifer inspires me. Seriously, inspires me. And she doesn't even have to open up her mouth to preach to me 1,000 of the best kind of sermons.
She reminds me what a blessing sight is. A gift Jennifer no longer has in the physical sense but in the Spiritual sense she is doubly gifted with vision, insights, and an ability to see God through most everything.
And she makes me laugh.
She says dude.
She's easy to be with and I love that about a girl.
And the girl can write! So, today she's offering to give 4 of my bloggy friends a copy of her "Fresh Grounded Faith" Devotion Book. How cool is that!
~ On the far end you'll see Michael O'Brien who hands down has one of my most favorite male praise voices in the history of the universe. His praise is hip and happening and the purest kind of pure. I can't describe it.
His music is the kind you could listen to for hours and never wish a song would hurry up and end. But the thing that really touched my heart about Michael is his story. He used to be the lead singer for the popular Christian group, New Song. Then his marriage started falling apart.
The easy thing to do would have been to give up on his marriage. But instead, he gave up his career. He stopped. No more big tours. No more weeks of being gone night after night from his family. And oh how the Lord has blessed and restored his life.
He still sings but just by himself. This keeps things more manageable and enables him to keep his family top priority.
As Jennifer would say... he is a cool dude!
~ Right beside Jennifer you see Anita Renfroe wearing a snappy little outfit. Anita makes me laugh so hard I make a spectacle of myself. I may or may not have needed to cross my legs and wish that a potty was close during one of her songs.
The girl is funny y'all.
And here's the real hoot.... before she became a comedian and hit the road with her husband/ road manager- he was a pastor. At a church. Let that sink in for a minute. She was a pastor's wife. Oh yes she was.
That makes me giggle.
I am giggling right now as I type.
Hold on.
Okay, so in the middle of all that laughing with Anita, she sang a song about dangling her feet off the edge of nowhere. It inspired this post.
And oh my stars... somehow Anita found my little ol' post and commented on that post telling me the story behind those inspiring words. Y'all ANITA commented on the blog! Oh my.
Then she sent me a big box full of goodies to give away to my bloggy friends. The girl is as sweet as Chick-fil-A tea y'all. And that is a mighty sweet kind of sweet y'all.
Let me tell you what she sent...
Her Biblical Steamy Devotional book for marriage called, "Songs in the key of Solomon." She sent several which means several winners!
She also sent many of her videos which require us ladies over 40 to wear Depends while watching. Not kidding. If you have now have issues when you jump on a trampoline, you will have issues while watching these DVD's.
My younger friends have no clue what I'm talking about. Enjoy your youth sisters. Enjoy. Jump, laugh, and run like gazelles before time comes and hands you bladder issues.
Speaking of youth... oh my stars can I tell you one more thing Anita sent?
Her son's CD. My girls and I are huge fans! Huge!
(Hello, Austin Kyle. Your music is so fun. Seriously. And Austin Kyle, if you happen to find out about today's post and leave me a comment I'll cry. No, I'll call Holly first and squeal. And then I'll cry. I want my girls to marry someone like you one day. That song you wrote for your future wife... oh dear here come the tears.)
Anyhow. I have some of Austin Kyle's, "Stuck in your head," CD's to give away as well.
Okay... so here's how you can win one of the several Anita gift packs I'll be sending out or one of Jennifer's books...
Click over to Jennifer's, Anita's, Michael's or Austin Kyle's websites and then pop back over here and tell me one thing about them in a comment below. That's it. So easy. So fun.

Oh I do love a little give away situation. They are like party favors. Only so much better.
Thanks for popping over to my little party today. I'm so glad you came. Oh... one more thing.
The winner of yesterday's Target card is Kim C... from the comment you left at Karen's site yesterday. Sweet Blessings!
