Holly, Brooke and I had an amazing time this weekend with some really special women from Crossbridge Church in New York. I love the people in this church... they have both an authentic love for God and for people who don't yet know him.
Would you pray that many people will be drawn to this church? New York is one of my favorite places in the world but it is also a place where many are skeptic of Christians. Please pray for this church to continue to reach the people in their community with the love of Jesus.
Some beautiful things happened there this weekend... and I knew I could count on you to pray.
I know what can happen when a skeptic meets the love of Jesus. It happened to me.
Many of you know my story. In my childhood I suffered horrific abuse at the hands of a close friend of our family. Then in my late teens, my youngest sister passed away and my world fell apart. I felt abandoned by God. I was so angry I told him I would never love Him or believe in Him again.
