I thought maybe we could have a little fun today. Kinda like when we were in school and they let us go on a field trip.
I loved field trips as a kid. Except for the time I went to the local newspaper with my class and got stung on my arm by a wasp. My arm swelled to the likeness of Popeye and I wound up in the Emergency Room.
Yeah, that was a major bummer.
Or the time I went on a skiing field trip and broke my hand. They put me in a cast up to my shoulder. This ended my plans to style my wing backed hairdo to perfection each day in hopes of catching the attention of a certain boy named Matt. I mean really. Why else would you go on the skiing field trip if not for the chance at some really good hair days?
Yeah, that was a bummer too.
Now that I've told you of my bad streak with field trips, I imagine you are more than ready to sign up, right?
So, today I'm in Nashville recording the audio version of my upcoming book. And guess who I'm staying with? Esther, my most favorite agent in the whole world.
Okay, she's my only agent, but truly my favorite!
So, since Esther knows a lot about publishing and book writing I thought we could do a virtual field trip to let you sort of visit with her.
Post any question you might have about the world of publishing. I'm going to have Esther pick a hand full of questions and answer them in tomorrow's post. Since I didn't exactly ask her in advance about this fun little field trip idea, I can't promise she'll get to every question. I am nothing if not super at advance planning y'all.
But she'll get to enough questions to make this really fun and interesting.
She's seriously an amazing woman y'all. Word on the street is that she has a 100% track record. Every book she's ever taken on, she doesn't stop until it's published.
That makes me know she's got some cool stuff to share. Can't wait to see what questions you come up with...
