Fish, laundry, and an invitation or two
Hello.

Y'all if you saw the condition of my office, you would break up with me. I'm not kidding. Not to mention my overflowing laundry situation.

I even twittered the other day an SOS for anyone who happens to love laundry to kindly mosey on over here to help the Tide and Downy start flowing freely once more.
Yes, I finally listened to my publisher and started Twittering.

I'll be honest, I don't get it.

I tell of highly interesting TerKeurst happenings like: "Just received a text from my husband that said: Don't open the back bathroom door. Don't let the dogs in the house. Fish thawing on the bathroom floor."

I know. There are about 210 things wrong with receiving a text like that. Even for rednecks. So, I figured I'd just let the world know about it. Makes complete sense right?

Anyhow, this is our She Speaks Conference week. For those of you who don't know what that is, do you see that little button over on the right side of my blog? That will help explain the craziness called my life this week.

For those of you attending She Speaks, word has it Jen is hosting a little bloggy get together on the Veranda Friday night. I'd love to meet you there! Be sure to leave a link on her site here.

I'll be the one looking a little dazed from having just given a keynote message that has the butterflies dancing in my tummy. Normally, I don't get nervous to speak. But, I'll be honest, I get WAY NERVOUS at She Speaks.

I'd appreciate any spare prayers you have.

And Hope comes home from spending the summer in Ethiopia- tomorrow! Please pray for her safe journey back to my arms aching to hold her.

I'll probably be a little scarce on postings this week, so I thought I'd leave you with a couple of questions. I'd really love to know if there is any interest on your part in two things. So please, with a little cherry on top- leave a comment below and tell me what you think:

1. I'm kinda sorta maybe thinking about doing an on-line women's conference this fall. I'd do 2-3 one hour sessions with a time for Questions and Answers. The topics would be in line with my upcoming book, "Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl."

Is this something anyone would be interested in? Or, does the fact that I live in a house with the most handsomest dude who thinks it's okay to thaw fish on a bathroom floor totally negate any desire to listen to me speak?

2. I'm kinda sorta maybe also thinking about doing a little bloggy get together at a local conference I'm doing in late August.

How many of you who live in the Charlotte or surrounding areas might be interested in something of this sort? Might it be more tempting if my husband were there offering you fried fish?

Or better yet, if I brought my mountain of laundry with me so we could all sit around and fold it together?

Do I know how to draw people to a party or what!

Just let me know what you think....

Please know I am praying for you this week. And if you are coming to She Speaks, I'll see you soon.
