* She is a woman who walks by faith.
* She lives in a state that starts with the letter "M".
* She loves coffee and she loves Jesus and she just wrote a book combining these two loves.
* She's been on the Dr. Phil show and on the Women of Faith tour.

I happen to work for the woman who is going to be the speaker at She Speaks, and Tera, I guarantee you she could NOT give up sugar or caffeine or sleep or food in general for 3 hours much less 3 days. Lest you think I am slamming my employer...she is telling me what to post so that she will not ruin Lysa's surprise.

Okay so here is where honesty for me hits the rubber road...ouch this is hurting...I was totally clueless...oh and didn't even think to google...and as I started reading everyones answers...I was 'um hello people how can you get Jennifer's name on here, the clue was that her name started with an M!!" And as I scrolled down and almost everyone was guessing Jennifer...I had to go back and read the clues...oops...its the state that begins with M...anyway...now that I am frustrated...humiliated and tired...I am way too pooped to even guess...
Ok, I googled like some others and it is Jennifer Rothschild. Either way, I would be so pumped to be there!

Well I'm guessing Jennifer Rothschild as well since she lives in Springfield Missouri and her new book is entitled: Fresh Grounded Faith: Devotions to Awaken Your Spirit.

Since Jennifer Rothschild has the devotion "Fresh Grounded Faith" I am guessing that is who you are talking about. I have done one of her bible studies with video and it was excellent.

OH my goodness! I'm so excited!! Who is it??? I'm guessing with the other's Jennifer Rothschild and my guess is her's because I know she has a new book out.....not sure that Robin McGraw does....and I know Jennifer's assistant is saying she is telling her what to say IT MUST BE!!!! =)

Well, I didn't know who but now I do (Jennifer's new book is Fresh Grounded Faith). So enter me to win the fun surprise! I love DaySpring and use their e-cards, as well as their purchased cards ALL the time.
I wanted to say Nicole Johnson but she lives in California so I will go with Jennifer Rothschild.
We are doing her Me, Myself and Lies Bible study in our women's ministry and it is wonderful! I am halfway through and it is making a HUGE difference in the way I think about myself, and helping me stop the junk before it gets started in my thoughts!

I stink at Google. I never got any of the names everyone else got. And that means I read everyone else's guesses and disqualified myself.
But I'm excited and counting the days until She Speaks anyway.
And the sugar thing. I'm so proud of you!!!! Trust me on this (this is Fitness Friday girl speaking)...once you break the addiction, you will no longer crave it. I know, I know. You cannot see how in the world that is possible. But it's true.
I once gave up all sweets for 40 days. I was going to celebrate my accomplishment by going to Cheesecake Factory (I'm so warped). I ordered a SALAD...and NEVER HAD CHEESECAKE. I didn't want it at all.

Last Friday as my daughter and I went shopping I tried on a dress. She exclaimed with glee "Mom, that looks GREAT, you MUST get it. It looks so awesome on you." Of course, I bought the dress. On the long, quiet ride home she turns to me and says,"You know that dress you tried on, it made your butt look sooooo big!" To which, she quickly covered her face and said, "Oh my goodness, I did not just say that out loud!"
So, here is the challenge.....
If you remain "sugar-free" until May 30, I will send you the dress! That is the date I begin my Be Still and Know that I am God tour. I thought it would be the most appropriate date.
That's 45 days. Can you do it?

I'm a huge fan of written notes...have been for years. I have always sent a few notes a week, but during this past Lenten season I decided to be more intentional about it.

I got to meet Holley from DaySpring at a conference a couple weeks ago. I don't know if she's got anything directly to do with all that DaySpring has been doing in support of Proverbs 31 Ministries and SheSpeaks, but if the rest of the folks there are anything like her (and I'm betting they are), "they're good people." It's fun to see all that's happening in support of the conference.
