When the journey is long, wear Aerosoles
All I have to say is wow.

Thank you sweet friends for praying. And thank you for lovingly encouraging this girl who wears Aerosoles shoes. Last night Kate and I had a little banter on stage about cute shoes that hurt vs. comfee shoes that no one notices.

She is a cute shoe girl. I am a comfee girl.

I guess you can take the girl out of McDonald's but you can't take the McDonald's out of the girl.

As I stood on that stage last night, I paused and took in the answer to 15 years worth of prayers. I didn't want to miss acknowledging Jesus and our journey together to that place. And I can honestly say I am thankful it took 15 years to get there.

When answered prayer is a long time coming, it gets your heart in the habit of being utterly dependent on and desperate for God. And that is a lesson I would have never wanted to miss.

I promise I'll post more about event along with pictures very soon. And I will tell you all about my singing debut as well.

Rumor has it those Aerosoles made me so comfortable that I may or may not have busted out with a little dedicated song to the Big Mama. Beyonce has nothing on me girl.
