Last week, the day before we left for Houston, the kids had reason to jump for joy. A snow day.
We don't mess around in North Carolina. Even if the snow is just a slight dusting, a serious snowman can be made. A snowman that made quite the fashion statement in her hula skirt and purple hair.
We also don't mess around when packing for a trip. The P31 team toted some serious luggage to Texas.
Here we are with some delightful bloggy friends~ Amanda from Baby Bangs, and Melanie from Big Mama. There were many other sweet bloggy friends there as well. However, my camera battery died at the most inopportune time and I wasn't able to get photos of all the bloggy sister fun.
Amanda has links of most of the bloggy gang that was there- So, if you have photos on your blog, let us know in the comments and we'll hop around and take a look!
On a complete side note--- I was touched to the depths of my souls with a comment that Lindsee left on her blog about me. She called me a homechick. To be called a homechick by some cute young thang, just made my day.
Like in one of those, I might actually feel a little hip, kind of ways. Like totally.
And speaking of hip, Beyonce's people have put in a request that I stop busting out with my own off key versions"All the single ladies." So, no, you won't see it on You-Tube any time soon.
Here's Hillary, Ayeisha, Kate, Renee, Me and my daughter, Hope. Kate has on some seriously cute Red peep toe pumps. She also has quite the collection of band aids pasted about her feet. I have on my aerosoles. And no band aids.

But I was loving her shoes.
And my little visit with Vern from Inspired Looks in San Antonio after this event proved very kind to my Aerosoles loving heart. Oh San Antonio Aerosoles store, I heart you. (More about this later on in the week. Do I have some treasures to show you!)
You will never, EVAH, think Aerosoles are uncool again.
And yes, Kate, I will let you know when people start complimenting me on them. (She thinks this day will never come for me.)

I believe by this point in the program, my knees finally stopping knocking. Thank you for your prayers!
And thank you for your prayers for Brooke and her grief over the loss of Cupcake the hamster. She had a very special date with her Daddy over the weekend and a new hamster was brought into the TerKeurst home.
Tomorrow, Brooke will be a guest poster with an exciting little contest. Stay tuned.
