Hi Sweet Bloggy Friends!
My family and I are at a Family Camp up in the Adirondack mountains this week. So, I've asked Holly to post each day and delight you with her funnies, insights and craziness.
This is why we are such great friends... crazy breeds crazy y'all.
Take for instance this post. And I'll have you know, I didn't eat a single cheese ball.
Excuse me while I polish my halo... and finish that bag of m&m's waiting for me back in my cabin. And if you think of it, pray that I won't have any unfortunate encounters with bears this week.
Of course, if I do run into said bear, I would tell him there is a much tastier girl down in North Carolina who just happens to be very full of the goodness called the cheese ball.
I'm nice like that.
Now without further ado... I give you a "Holly-day."

This barrel was was sadly full of cheese balls just 3 days ago.
My son is away for the week.
My hubby works during the day.
My daughter doesn't like cheese balls.
I was home, and I love cheese balls.
I'm fearing that they must be in my possession somewhere...
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has days like this.
(And I didn't even mention the double stuffed Oreo cookies we have in the cookie jar behind the cheese balls...they're really good too.)
Looks like I'll have to add 'watch out for stray bears seeking cheese ball bellies' to my To Do List for today! Thank you very much Lysa. I love you too. Really, I do.

Smile. Glad to hear from you Holly. So, when is your birthday? I know just what to send you now!

Holly - we all have those days! As I matter of fact, when some people over eat they call it the "Holly days." (Holidays). LOL.
Have a terrific week - the boss is out of town! ;-)
I have those days too, Holly. What is worst my husband works for Food Lion and brings home stuff to try. At least sometimes my kids do the eating of said products and not me.

Have fun with the wildlife, Lysa!
And thanks for filling in, Holly! Are you to the point where cheese balls are like quail? (So much of a good thing that it's making you ill?)
Have a big glass of water and a nice, long walk.... but not in the woods. ;-)
I love cheese balls too..which is why my husband won't let us buy that big barrell from Sam's club!
You are basically eating "orange air" so it can't take up *that* much space in your belly.
Why don't you tell your bloggy friends about how much you love soft pretzels, popcorn with special salt that needs to be carefully rationed, and steak (or two)!
Now if that were a big jar of chocolate - oh my - I could have that gone in a day. I'm sure there's not many calories in those cheese balls - they're pretty light and fluffy:) love mel
Just say no to the cheese balls!! Easier said than done or you could just throw them out the birds There would be some very happy birds down your way!! I don't think they like oreos so you are just going to have to eat them!!
I had a similar scenario take place at my house with a large bag of peanut M&Ms! It wasn't pretty!
Here's my secret, Holly: I buy the luscious goodness of cheeseballs in the small cans, instead of the giganta-tub.
That way I will look less like a cheeseball and more like, well, me.
If they ever figure out a way to combine the cheese-ball goodness with the oreo sweetness we will REALLY be in trouble!!
When the cat's away. . . .
You can have the cheese balls, but I'll fight you for the Oreos!
Mmmmm...cheeseballs! I love em.
I have that problem with puffcorn. The sodium content is so high that I am bloated by the time I finish the bag but I love it so!
The best thing to do is just finish up the rest of them really quickly, fill the barrel with some kind of item that needs a home and then pretend none of it ever happened!
:)
Have a great day!
Yummers! I love cheeseballs, too. And double-stuffed oreos. If I had my way, those would be in my canisters instead of flour, sugar and tea bags. :) Great to hear from you, Holly!
Love cheeseballs! I wasn't stealing them, but if you ever find a tub that should be removed from your presence, feel free to send them my way [smile]

I'm thinking you got that big barrel of cheese balls from afar - at COSTCO with Lysa, right?! A friend of mine who is a child psychologist once told me not to feed my kids anything orange like Cheetos because it does something bad to their brain development. I had to go home and hide my Doritos, cheese balls and Cheetos. I am not so much a cheese ball girl, but I can eat me a whole family size tote bag of Doritos! Those things are so addictive!
Holly,
That's why I have to deprive my family of any junkfood....I'm the one who eats it!!!!
I love you and your cheese ball filled self!
Love,
Melissa
Squirrels... blame it on the squirrels!
I've been trying to stay away from the Oreos in my pantry all morning! I can't take it anymore! :} I agree with seesawfaith...
finish 'em up and pretend nothing ever happened! That's what I'm going to do!
shanda
those cheese ball things are addicting. I mean you eat and eat, then all of a sudden they are gone and you are like, wooo did I just do that!!
you are not alone
That is the reason I don't buy cheese balls. It's best if I leave them at the store.
Oreo's too, they all stay at the store. It's best that way.
Hi Holly,
I think it must be something in the NC air giving us these munchies! My weakness is Cheddar Sun Chips which I have eaten a ton of in the last two days. Typically I don't keep junk food around but bought munchies to take to the beach. I love we can use our children as an excuse for buying those type things. However we know now that Renee can't use that excuse! We only have these glorious summer days a few weeks longer so you just as well enjoy! thanks for filling in for Lysa great to hear from you!
Sweet Blessings,
Margaret
Girl - you are not alone! Those double stuffed oreos you mentioned, mmmmmmm...
:)
Holly....go ahead and enjoy. Sometimes we just need "cheese balls" !
Love & hugs to you today - and hoping I can get Internet service every day this week so I can check in on you while I'm on holidays and "Holly Days" - always a favourite my friend!!!
With love,
Joy
Holly...we could SO be friends...I too have a "cheese ball" problem. They say admitting it is the FIRST step!!!
For me it's the can of Pringles. There's this little voice in my head somewhere that says "you're going to eat them all anyway, you might as well get it over with!" So I do.
Oh, You must try the Natural Cheetos. Every one I know that has tried them now has a new addiction! Bonus, your fingers don't stain with these so no one knows the culprit.
Cheese balls really are addicting. Seems like 1 turns into 100 in a matter of seconds. And given the fact that they are so light and airy and never make you full - I am CERTAIN they must be fat and calorie free - right?!? Please tell me it is so!!!
Hi Holly. Great to hear all the experience of being the president of the bxxb club has paid off. Love, Peacock (was that my nickname? I can't remember that far back!)
Funny thing: we're missing cookie dough bites at my house. :-)
Sigh. There are always those foods...those tempting morsels that you know no one else in the house likes and yet they disappear somehow. :) I can't buy the Girl Scout Thin Mints! When they are gone I know who devoured them WAY too quickly!
Thanks for filling in this week, Holly! :) And if your computer keys have some orange, cheesy powder on them, don't worry...we'll never know! :)
Oh girlfriend, I guess I haven't told you about when I stood in the ice cream aisle trying to decide which flavor. I wisely decided against the high carb ice cream and took home a 6 pack carton of sugar free pudding.
I was so proud of my choice.
I ate all 6 cartons.
I had chocolate pudding diarrhea for a LONG time.
Does a half container of cheese balls have the same effect or do you know yet? :)
Love you!
The real question....is that the same container of cheese balls on your counter from last week or a new one? Love you, cheesy fingers and all!
