I'm writing this quick post to ask you to please pray for my daughter Ashley. She has a sinus infection which she just got antibiotics for yesterday and then spent most of last night in the Emergency Room with a severe ear infection. All of which would be quite manageable except that she is scheduled to compete in a big gymnastics meet tomorrow morning at the University of Georgia.
Her mom wanted her to sit this one out. But the drive in her little 12 year old soul isn't cooperating. So, we are in Athens, Georgia where she is scheduled to flip and flop with a hurting ear and messed up equilibrium.
Slightly problematic. The perfect recipe for a heart attack for her mother.
On top of all that, Athens is currently under severe weather warnings. As I write this hail balls are falling from the sky and tornado warnings are being issued.
I guess you could say... when it rains- it pours- cats and Georgia Bull Dawgs.
Please oh please--- if you have a moment or two or even ten to pray for her safety and encouragement now and at 8am tomorrow morning, I would be so very appreciative.
