I very clearly remember being a little girl and staring out the front window of our house. I counted on my tiny fingers how many years I had left before I would be grown. I then closed my eyes and imagined what my life might be like...
Who would love me?
What would the man look like that would kiss me and call me his wife?
Would I be able to have children?
What would they look like?
What would I be when I grew up?
Yesterday I stood at the front window of my house and peeked out at all that had come to pass. And this is what came to mind...
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory..." (Ephesians 3: 20-21)

Thank you Jesus...
though at times it can be messy and chaotic...
though at times I feel like I am being stretched to my limit...
though at times the decisions they make, sometimes break my heart...
though at times they wear a shirt they borrowed from a friend that advertises a company that I don't like... ahem... Jackson where is that nice pink polo you wore to church today?
though my attitude doesn't always reflect thankfulness...
today I pause...
and I say from the bottom of my heart...
This is more than I could have ever hoped or imagined for.
