Recipe Swap and Hop
This is the thing about cooking dinner. You work and work and work and work. Then with a few scoops here and few servings there, it's gone. All your hard work either eaten, spilled, or stored as a leftover that might be discovered weeks later in an unrecognizable state.

Making dinner has to be about something more than just the food. For me, it is drawing those that I love to the very center of our home... the kitchen. And it's in this room that one can feel the pulse of my family.

So I want to be a little more excited about the privilege to cook for those I love. And that's where you come in. I'm in a recipe slump sisters... and from the comments you left yesterday it would seem I've got company in this here slump.

That's why we are doing a little Mr. Linky fun today with swapping recipes.

Here's how to participate if you have a blog...

Now for my contribution:

I am giving you two recipes... one recipe is for those nights you actually have time to cook and the other is for those nights you simply don't have much time.

Anyone up for breakfast for dinner??? Try my family's favorite Breakfast Casserole!

Yankee Spoiler--- (My kids beg me to make this!)

1 cup cooked grits (1 cup water and 3 Tablespoons of "Quick Grits")
1 3/4 cup milk, heated in the microwave
1 stick of butter, melted
4 eggs, beaten
1 box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
1 lb. Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage, browned with grease drained off
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients except cheese. Pour into a greased casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 325 for 45-50 minutes. YUM!!!

Now here is my no time Recipe...

Chef Boyardee Pizza from a box.

Yes Ma'am that stuff is addictive and is probably the reason I had to write "The Muffin Top Diaries." Oh dear.

Happy cooking sisters!
