What is the deal with PMS?
Sometimes I get PMS me the week before you know what. Sometimes it is the week after. Sometimes it is the week of. Sometimes it is all three. So then, I know I can only bank on one guaranteed week of no PMS. This is that week. But when I got emotional over a board game last night, and I think I have it this week too!
I'm starting to wonder if it is really PMS or just me. I mean really anytime I get a little dramatic or emotional I just quip- "well, you know I'm PMS-ing." Maybe I need to diversify and sometimes blame PMS and sometimes change to Pre-menopausal. Either way, a cure people, a cure is what I'm in need of!
So, last night I got a little emotional about a board game. It is a highly intense board game being played by four very competitive people. Each time Art and I get together with Dean and Suzy we play this PMS inducing game called "Acquire." With this trip we will play 9 rounds over 5 days. We keep a running tally of the scores and when all is said and done the winner gets to proudly display the Acquire Cup at their house until we play again. And as a side note, the cup has been at our house for two years. Ahem and Ahem again.
So, the stakes are high! I am tied with Art for 2nd place at the current moment. Dean is winning. Him winning would be a tragedy. Now, I wouldn't want you to pray for me to win a silly game or anything but if you feel so inclined I guess I really can't stop you. But please do remember I have PMS--- like for weeks on end--- and a girl like that just needs to win.
